ROMUALDO GARZON BARRIER, born in Acevedo, Huila (Colombia).
From an early age he began in the divine and magical world of music as a child singer (soprano) at the prestigious Bemposta Polyphonic Choir of Colombia. Studied music at the Musikhochschule in Tunja (Colombia), performing and Choir Conducting with teachers Zorro Sanchez and Jaime Jorge Guillén. Since 1981 lives in León (Spain), where he developed an intense work as founder and director of choirs. Professor, School of Music, Dance and Theater of the City of Leon.
is Diploma in Choir, by the Junta de Castilla y León (Regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism), Junta de Andalucía (Ministry of Culture), Ministry of Culture (Institute Youth and Community Outreach), Conservatory of Music of Leon (Kodaly Methodology, Piano), as well as various courses in Choral and Orchestra with renowned directors, performing musical works with teachers: Michel Hasler, Ariel Ramirez, Odon Alonso, Julio Ferreras, Adolfo Gutiérrez Viejo, Samuel Rubio, Dorel Murgu Jose Zaldivar, Juan Pérez Bern, Jesus Nava, J. Antonio Galindo, Amancio Prada (Canto Espiritual de San Juan de la Cruz), with the Orchestra of Madrid, Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de León "Odon Alonso, Camerata Orchestra" Laurentian "de Leon. Camerata Orchestra "Bergidum" Ponferrada, Schola Cantorum Orchestra Cathedral of León, Orquesta Sinfónica "Ciudad de Málaga" Set "Avan-J", and premiered several choral symphonic works. In the field of choral music has extensive experience as Director of scholae, Children's Choirs, Youth Choirs and Mixed Chorus.
