The dance of the guácharos

's unique and singular as it executes the guácharo bridal dance, bird logo in our town, led to an inspiration bambuco musical rhythm while partying establish a choreography according to the rhythmic motion, flapping and gliding flight of your dog.
I want to express my musical composition the importance of this natural site (cave guácharos), early settlers who visited and also give it that touch of air sampedrino result of the idiosyncrasies Huila.
We had a great opportunity Introducing the dance group at the Festival of Folk Dance Department of Huila in 2000 and proudly won first place.
This process of change, to adapt the quality of the melody and their respective choreography, was endorsed by the mayor of Nazianzus Ortiz, the government secretary Hector Rojas and The Honourable Councillors by the agreement No. 005 May 2009 " which institutionalizes the "Dance of Guacharo" in the municipality of Acevedo. This musical piece is officially interpreted in the context of the opening of the Acevedo's birthday celebration during its life and different cultural events and institutions organized by educational establishments in the municipality of Acevedo. (Article 2).
Special thanks to my dear family, the teacher Hernando Domínguez (music arranger), the dance workshops Deiber, Diego the members of the dance group and all the friends who contributed to this cultural project.

Golden was born in Caldas (1957) My parents Huila. From an early age I moved to Bogotá where I began studies in primary and basic school, then ended up teaching cycle in the National Normal Pitalito. I was appointed as a teacher specializing in English and literature at Colegio José Acevedo y Gómez municipality of Acevedo in Huila 1980. Director of the House of Culture, Education Administration graduate, graduate in Ecology and recreational fun, a musician, composer, storyteller and very devoted to work and my beloved family.
Acevedo and Huila have been my source of inspiration, its valleys, its mountains, its people, its character and aroma of coffee that you deserve. Indeed one is not where born, but where it is made.
To all my friends and especially my ACEVEDUNOS with affection and pride I dedicate this tune "Dance of Oilbirds" which, the Honorable Council City, agreed to adopt it as typical folk song and dance and cultural heritage of the municipality of Acevedo. With this song and dance took second place at the southern Huila and then got the first prize in folk dance department in the city of Neiva in 2000.
