This Weekend Palace ocom week celebrates its cultural festival in the town of Oconahua
The Board ocom Palace AC Ceremonial Center, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of Jalisco by the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage, made a kind invitation to the general public to enjoy the XV Festival Cultural " ocom Palace "which will be held on Saturday May 7 in the main square of the town of Oconahua, Etzatlán Municipality, Jalisco.
The program will include the participation of researchers who have rescued the lives of pre-Hispanic times in western Mexico, Dr. Phil Weigand and Ms.. García de Weigand Acelia and archaeologist Sean M. Smith, in charge of archaeological excavations in the precincts of the Palace structure OCOM. There will discuss their experiences and progress in the investigations of the site and the archaeological project Teuchitlán Guachimontones site.
addition, the XV Festival Cultural ocom Palace "will be enhanced by the presentation of different folk groups, a kermes gastronomic and traditional cultural dancing. The event will be attended by the Mayors Luis Velez Fregoso of Etzatlán, Oscar Rivera Gonzalez, Teuchitlán; Jesus Arana, San Juanito Escobedo and Francisco Mora, Ahualulco Market.
